저는 이동 수단을 통해서 '자유와 이동'에 대해서 이야기를 하고 있습니다.
항해하는 배, 달리고 있는 자동차 그리고 날아가고 있는 비행기 등의 형상들을 많이 표현합니다.
저는 관객들이 제가 상상하고 생각하는 그런 자유의 모습, 관람자의 어떤 답답한 부부을 해소해 줄 수 있는 그런 부분들을 돌(stone)을 이용해 만들어 보여주는 조각 작업을 주로 하고 있습니다.
저는 어떻게 보면 큰 자유나 이동에 대해서 부분들만 바라볼 수 있는 시야를 열어주고자 합니다.
그 이후 구체적인 장소로 '어딘가, 어디로' 좀 더 관람객들이 상상할 수 있게끔 하고 있습니다. 작품을 감상할 때 느끼는 부분들이 개인마다 다르기에 상상의 방향을 열어두고 작업을 하고 있습니다.
My work centers around the theme of 'freedom and movement' through various modes of transportation.
I frequently depictimages of sailing ships, moving cars, and flying airplanes, embodying these forms extensively.
In my sculptures, I strive to convey a vision of freedom as I imagine and contemplate it, utilizing stone to express and alleviate some of the audience's feelings of constraint. M work primarily involves creating sculptures that offer a glimpse into the expansive realms of freedom and movement, opening up a perspective that may focus only on the more significant aspects of these themes.
Subsequently, through my art, I encourage viewers to imagine palces-'somewhere' or 'someplace'. Since everyone art differently, I keep the direction of imagination open in my reative process.
